Kristine Fuller is Heritage’s brand new bookkeeper, but this isn’t her first role within the Heritage community. As former Color Guard director, Fuller has been with the school for 6 years after moving to Colorado in 2017 from Iowa. She held a job at an accounting firm and took care of her young son during Covid.
When asked why she wanted the role of bookkeeper, Fuller says, “I’m pretty Type A. I like keeping everything in order. Bookkeeping is one of those things where you really want to stay on top of everything.” Many students don’t know what a bookkeeper does.
“I am also learning this position, and I do a lot of fun things. So I help process all of the payments and the purchases of the school.” says Fuller. She explains how she helps students with their fees and purchasing yearbooks and lends a hand to teachers when they need supplies. Her role even expands to the activities, sports, and arts programs.
“I’ve always loved Heritage. I can’t get away from you guys. I love it here, I love all the students. And while I’ve only worked with the band program in the past, I’m really excited to be in this position now where I can meet more of you students and get to know everybody.”
