Senior assassin has started

Every year, the Heritage senior students organize a game that blends competitions and school spirit: senior assassin.

This game is played much like a giant version of tag, but with water guns instead of hands. Seniors are in a team of two people, and each person of the team has a new target every week, and their mission is to “eliminate” them by squirting them with water and videoing it. If you are wearing a tutu, you can’t be shot. Also, if you don’t get your target out that week, you are out on the bounty board, which means that on Saturday, you can’t wear a tutu. Once a player takes out their target, they inherit that person’s target. Every person who is eliminated is posted in the senior assassin instagram: hhs.senior.assasin_26

The last person left in the game is the winner, and he wins the big prize. Right now the prize is around $ 500 but it will increase as people buy back into the game.

The seniors really enjoy it, even though it can sometimes be stressful. Addie Grinwins ’26 says, “I think it’s fun so far, but I’ve been super paranoid all week because I don’t really want to get out.” It’s something that happens every year, and no one wants this game to stop. Kyla Case ’26 says, “I think it’s a wonderful thing to keep and help seniors build bonds before graduation.

Ps: Don’t forget your tutu
