The In-N-Out Burger food truck arrived at Heritage High School on Thursday to help raise money for MAD Week. The amount of support from students was overwhelming.

Miles Pechan ‘27 said “Having an In-N-Out truck come to school was actually pretty cool. It was way better than having the normal school lunch. Everyone got a little hyped when it showed up. The line was genuinely insane but the wait wasn’t incredibly long. The food was good, but it was also just a fun change from a normal school day. People were hanging out, talking and just eating. It made the day feel less boring for once, which is something everyone can appreciate.”

The event was hosted and managed by the student government. When asked, a representative from the junior class, Ryan Schmidt ‘27 said “The In-N-Out food truck was such a hit for students; we ended up raising much more money than we expected, and we also sold all 800 of our tickets, which we thought was pushing it. This was a huge accomplishment to do this. It’s really amazing to see how our school can come together to engage in our community and raise money for an important cause, which always makes things meaningful for everyone involved.” With students and staff showing huge amounts of support for the event, hopefully the school can continue to do events like this in the future.
