The end of the season for our school fall sports has passed, and our gymnastics team made it to the state competition. This took place on November 2, and they placed seventh overall. For our gymnastics team to go to state, they had to score at least one hundred seventy points at regionals. Our top placers were Reese B. ’26 and Abby N. ’25. Bryant competed in all four events: Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Nichols competed in all four as well and qualified for floor at state finals.

Leading up to the competition, Bryant says, “Overall, the season went very well; we all had very successful meets and scored our highest overall in three events…I was extremely proud of how my team did. I love them like my family, and I think we all just have so much fun together.”

The team had good practices and performed well at their meet. All around, Reese B. placed fourteenth, and Abbey N. placed twenty-sixth.

Nichols states, “I was really proud of how my whole team and I did. We all came together and cheered each other on!”

Overall, the gymnastics team got to state by being by each other’s side and supporting their whole team. A strong team like this stems from active love through the group. Being close to the other team members greatly helped the team throughout the season.
