At Heritage a lot of people get their food from Doordash, but what fast food places are the cheapest? Which ones deliver the fastest? An experiment was conducted with the following food restaurants: McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A and Wendy’s. I ordered a kid’s chicken nugget meal with a small Dr. Pepper.
Price-wise, Wendy’s was the cheapest with only needing to spend $11.45 including the delivery fee. Chick-fil-A was the most expensive with a need of $17.96 including the delivery fee, giving the point to Wendy’s.

At Heritage, we don’t always have a ton of time to retrieve food deliveries. Chick-fil-A took an average of 37 minutes to arrive to Heritage. McDonald’s and Wendy’s tied at an average of 20 minutes to get to Heritage.
We all love nice hot fries, but do they stay that way? When the food from Chick-fil-A arrived both times everything but the nuggets were cold. When the McDonald’s was brought to me, it was lukewarm the first time, but nice and hot the second time. The Wendy’s was nice and warm both times it arrived, but the drink had no ice either.
Overall, this puts Chick-fil-A with half a point for the warm nuggets, McDonald’s with a point and a half and Wendy’s for the win with two and a half points.
Even though we all have different tastes and allergies, it is safe to say that if you are in a rush and need food, Wendy’s would be a nice quick go-to for fast food, but if you have more time and are craving food that’s not too much heat, Chick-fil-A would be perfect for you. If doordash is not your thing, you could always drive and pick up any type of food you would like.
