Ms. Morris is new to the Heritage community, but not the Littleton community. Prior to coming to Heritage, she worked at Euclid Middle School for 18 years. She’s lived in Colorado, most of her life, since high school.
Heritage is a big shift and learning curve for Morris, the details of her job consists of different things.
Morris explains the new demands, “The biggest piece of my job right now is registration, making sure that students are taking what they need to get into the correct colleges, or even what they want to do to maybe go into a trade school or to just go into the workforce after high school.”
“I just love talking to students, not just about what they’re gonna do after high school, but just hearing who they are, their stories, and their backgrounds. Every person is unique and different and it’s so fun getting to know all different kinds of students.” Morris explains.
In addition to her job, Morris enjoys various other activities. “I love to snowboard and I love to wakesurf at the lakes in the summer. I also have a Boston Terrier dog I enjoy spending time with.”
The Heritage community continues to welcomes Morris and loves getting to know her more.
