Is it a parking lot or a parking luck? According to the school website on parking, there may be more students who want spots than are available, So, there is a process for getting a parking pass. For seniors, there is a parking pass distribution day which is on Monday, August 3rd, 2026 from 9:00am to 12:00pm where seniors line up to get their parking passes which is on a first come first serve basis. But for all juniors and the seniors who don’t go to distribution day, they have to put themselves into the parking lottery and hope that they get a parking pass.

Interviews with some students indicate a few opinions about the process. Sophia LIsec ‘27, said “I think the system is pretty fair since it’s fully random and there’s no bias.” She also said “Since a lot of seniors didn’t want a parking spot this year, it was pretty easy to get one.” As asked about distribution day she said “I’m pretty sure that I only had to wait about thirty minutes to an hour.”  Another interview with Rylea Galbraith ‘28, states “It was kinda hard, I had to do an entire application and it was kinda confusing especially with how it was different than last year and also how many rules they changed, plus the fact that you weren’t guaranteed a spot this year even if you had after school activities.”

The good news is that you can still apply for a spot or pass by getting on the waitlist for fifty dollars first semester and twenty-five during the second semester. So it’s not too late to apply through the process if you still want to try your luck for a parking spot!
