Jennifer Langford is a new teacher at Heritage.

Jennifer Langford is a new English teacher at Heritage for the 2022-2023 school year.

This will be Langford’s 20th year of teaching. She has taught English and social studies at the middle school, high school and college levels.

Langford values Heritage’s positive and welcoming environment. She feels like the staff has the student body’s best interest at heart.

“I was looking for a place to have a fresh start; a fresh set of people and community. I’ve always known Heritage’s reputation as being a very good school with a good community,” states Langford.

Langford is looking forward to working with new people and being a part of the energy here at Heritage. She is excited by students’ willingness to try new things and loves to see her students feel good about their accomplishments.

“I know it can be frustrating when you just can’t get something, and when you do get it, it’s a big deal,” explains Langford.

Outside of school, Langford enjoys gardening, reading and quilting. She loves to walk with her dog and watch her children play sports.

Langford can be reached via email at jlangford@lps.k12.co.us or in person during second and fifth period.
