Dog Days are Over: This classic song by Florence + The Machine might be a little overplayed, but for spring, it matches the feeling of the season perfectly. The ukulele instrumentals in the beginning build up the sound and makes you happy just listening to it. It gives the vibe of a spring break road trip, or seeing the flowers in your backyard come back into bloom. The phrase “dog days are over” means tough times are coming to an end, which the song really encapsulates.

C’Mon: Ke$ha is the most staple music I can think of when it comes to anything high school. Her songs remind me of school dances, going shopping and warm weather. Ke$ha is the go-to when you are on aux and thinking of a song that will get everyone to scream all the words. The vibes of this song are very spring break hanging with friends and late-night car rides.

Dear California: The sound of this song is immediately something that catches your attention. The guitar has a different but cool sound and it has kind of a sentimental feel to it. It reminds me of flying home from a vacation and you get that bittersweet feeling, but you’re also relieved to be home. Overall this song is perfect for the warm weather and the transition into summer and travel.
