The 2025 school year kicks of with a rolling schedule. This means that every other day is an even day, and the same applies for odd days. Many students and teachers can agree that this is more enjoyable than the schedule from previous years. Joey O’Brien ‘28,  says, “I like it, because I don’t have to look at my schedule every day to know what classes to go to. I also don’t have to see the same people two days in a row.”

Miles Pechan ‘27  thinks, “It makes things feel easier, no more double days, which means you have longer breaks between classes, which also means more time to do homework between classes.”

Heritage students enjoy the rolling schedule, but what do the teachers think?

Science Teacher Mr. Geoffrey Brinker says, “I enjoy the new schedule, because I get to see different classes every day; however, it does make planning harder, because the schedule is no longer related to the day of the week.” Overall, the general consensus is that the rotating schedule is better than the previous schedule.
